Do ceramic braces take longer?
The length of your treatment plan will depend on the severity of your condition! Treatment with ceramic braces can take anywhere from 12 to 36 months to complete.
If your case is of minor severity and primarily focused on the aesthetics of the smile, your treatment period will be on the shorter end of the spectrum. For more complex cases with bite misalignments or a severe dental misalignment, your treatment will take a bit longer.
While ceramic braces are effective and durable, ceramic isn’t as durable as stainless steel. If you experience multiple orthodontic ‘emergencies’ throughout your treatment period, this could extend your treatment length.
